What information is helpful for our conversation?

For the conversation at the practice

What you can tell us at your appointment.

A brief look back helps us understand your previous preventive care. If you know, please tell us about these three points:

  • Last check-up

When you last had a dental check-up. An approximate date is enough for the first conversation.

  • Last professional cleaning

Whether and roughly when you last had professional teeth cleaning. This may have been on a different day from your check-up.

  • Agreed intervals

Whether your previous practice has already discussed intervals for check-ups, professional cleaning or aftercare with you.

Cannot remember exactly? That is fine. You are welcome to bring any existing records. We will discuss your future preventive care together at the practice.

Questions before your visit

Anything else
on your mind?

You can call us with administrative questions. The address and travel information are available under Contact & directions.

Will treatment take place at the first appointment?

That depends on your concern, the findings and the appointment agreed. We discuss personally which steps are possible and appropriate. We cannot promise a particular treatment on the first day in advance.

Can I also come for preventive care?

Yes. Preventive care, professional teeth cleaning as well as preserving teeth with fillings and providing suitable dental restorations are part of our everyday practice. For your long-term care, we discuss with you which steps and intervals make sense for your needs. You can find an overview under All treatments.

What if I am anxious about the visit?

Please feel free to mention this when booking. We can then discuss what helps you and which wishes we can accommodate. Read more on our page for Dental anxiety.

What if I cannot attend my appointment?

Please cancel at least 48 hours in advance wherever possible so we can offer the appointment to someone else. If something comes up at short notice, please let us know as soon as you can. You can reach us on 0221 669 401 80.

Let’s arrange an appointment.

For urgent symptoms, please call the practice directly so we can discuss how to proceed.
